The answer to that is yes, you can migrate your website to anywhere you want within 30 days of cancelling your subscription.

So till now everything sounds good but the problem with wealthy affiliate is that they sugarcoat everything. They make you feel that money making is just very easy. You just create a website add some affiliate links and voila, you’re rich. No, it does not work that way. You don’t just get your website live, add a few plugins and start making money. If it was that simple, everyone would be doing it.

After creating your website, you need to design it which can take weeks for a beginner. Even after designing your website you need to rank your articles to get any organic traffic. While WA does make it sound very easy, it’s not that simple. You need to do a lot of SEO before you can get anywhere near the first page on any search engine.

This is the only problem that I have with WA, they do provide valuable knowledge but they give a false sense that everything would be cake walk if you buy their premium membership. I’m not saying that their program is worthless but they do sugarcoat a lot to sell their premium plan.

The charges for the premium plan is $19 for the first month and $49 thereafter. While there is no significant improvement with creating your website over the free plan, the premium plan does get you access to the full course, community help and private messaging which can help you a lot in growing your website. There are plenty of users in wealthy affiliate community who are very successful in affiliate marketing so networking with them and learning from them can actually give you an edge over others in your niche who started with the same experience as you.

Certain tools provided by WA are worth their price such as the keyword planner which you get with both the free and premium membership. But you can get a keyword planner for $10 from other websites too so why pay $49 for a recurring course.

So, my advice to anyone looking to join WA would be that their courses do add value and there are community members in WA that can help you out a lot in becoming successful with affiliate marketing. But, you must have realistic expectations from them. Everything is not as easy or simple as WA makes it sound in their sales pitch.

Also don’t fall for their schema of promoting their own program where they ask you to promote WA to your readers. If you start a website around their program, then you will have some problems later on. So keep your expectations realistic and make good use of their community of thousands of professional marketers but do not fall prey to their exaggerating sales pitch.

ShareASale

The first program on this list is ShareASale.com. I think this is one of the best, if not the best affiliate network for beginners. You can go ahead sign up and start promoting from thousands of products on there.

The first big hurdle will be to get accepted into their program as they do not accept all countries. So it’s better to check first if your country is on their list or not.
If it is then all you will need is a blog or a website to get accepted into the program. They actually support four different methods of getting paid, so it’s a great place to start.

Their commission rates are a lot higher than Amazon which is why they are preferred by novice and expert affiliates alike.

Regal Assets

Next we are going to talk about Regal Assets and the reason I put this program on the list is because it will probably interest a lot of people considering it has to do with investing in gold, silver, platinum and other such materials.

It’s one of the highest paying affiliate programs probably ever because some of the biggest commissions that they’ve paid out to affiliates has been in five figures. They’re based in Burbank California and they have A+ better business bureau rating, so they are a legitimate company.

I know when you talk about the five-figure commission on products people might be sceptical, but they help people with their financial adviser. They help people create retirement funds and invest in gold, silver, platinum and other precious metals.

Since their transactions range somewhere between $20,000 to $85,000, the commissions they pay per sale are way high then any other affiliate program out there. If you can get new people to create accounts, basically to create portfolios or legal assets then you can get five-figure commissions with Regal Assets.

CJ Affiliates

So CJ Affiliates is on number three on my list and here also you can sign up to become an affiliate and the best thing about this program is they accept all countries into their program.

They payout affiliates through four different methods, so no need to depend on PayPal. It is easier to get approved in this program, a lot easier than ShareASale.

But there’s one problem with CJ Affiliate once you join the program you cannot just pickup a product and start promoting it like amazon, instead you have to wait for 24 hours to get approved by the program. This can be a hurdle for some beginners as you’ll have to get approved for every product and sometimes they don’t even allow you to sell multiple products without picking up any sales.

Net-A-Porter

Net-A-Porter.com is another affiliate network that often makes it into the list of best affiliate networks. This program is targeted towards fashion niche. Basically, you get commissions as an affiliate to promote the world’s biggest designer labels. Jacob Chole and McCartney are just a few of them.

So you are selling basically the most expensive clothes out there to the 1% who can actually afford them and as you can know you will be getting huge commissions for doing so.

Joining Net-A-Porter is one of the toughest tasks. You have to email them before you can even try to promote their products, after which they decide if you are a right fit and grant you access to their network.

They pay up to 6% of commissions which may not sound like much but that is huge as you will be selling clothes that are worth thousands of dollars apiece.

Amazon Affiliate

Amazon affiliate network is the most popular affiliate program in this list of most popular affiliate networks and rightly so. It is up there because they have a huge catalogue of products which includes electronics, clothing, footwear, appliances and many other products.

And the best thing is that anyone can sign up to their programs. They even provide you with custom banner and links for your websites. So you don’t have to worry about putting extra lines of code into your website.

Their commissions can range from 4% on electronics to 10% on clothing & apparel. When you join amazon affiliate program for the first time you have to generate at least 6 sales within the first 180 days of you joining the program which should be fairly easy if you know how to.

Unknown to some amazon also has some very high priced items on their website such as luxury watches and leather items. Some of them run up to as much as $50,000. So you can make a living with just one commission each month.
